A New Speech for Black History

Matthew 12:37(NKJV)- For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.
The first thing I saw on the news this morning was the plagiarized speech of former FLOTUS Michelle Obama given by Melania Trump, as if it were her own.
Now I know we all make mistakes and some may seem larger than others, but that depends on whose measuring stick we are using.
Nevertheless, I say we capitalize on Melania’s sideshow and make the best of it. I can’t count and wouldn’t even venture to guess how many times Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech has been recited by both young and old alike.
I say we come up with a catchy name for Michelle’s speech (they may already have one) and begin to teach it to little girls and have them recite it as part of the black history programs across the nation.
If it wasn’t obvious in 2008 that it was an awesome speech, it should clearly be obvious now. I say imprint Michelle’s speech on the mind of every little girl and let America see the greatness that exist in us that everyone else tries to take credit for…ijs.
